Do you accept forms of payment other than Visa or MasterCard?

The short answer is Yes, however Visa and MasterCard are the only two forms of payment we accept online.  We will accept personal cheques, money orders, or direct funds transfer (for larger orders).

To place an order by cheque or money order follow these steps:

• When you are finished shopping click on "Checkout".
• Fill out the shipping information
• Copy and paste the shipping information into any text editor or into a Word document
• Click on "next" and proceed to the billing page where you will see your total with the shipping charges applied
• No need to fill anything out on this page simply copy and paste into the same document.
• Make cheques payable to Sleeping Dog Marketing
• Mail your completed order along with your cheque or money order to Sleeping Dog Marketing.

We will begin processing your order immediately, but it will not be shipped until your cheque clears.

Do you accept credit card orders over the phone?

Yes we do.  If you are more comfortable placing your order over the phone please feel free to call us at 518-342-4943.  We will enter your order by means of our secure virtual terminal and begin processing your order immediately.

What happens if I change my mind about my order?

If you change your mind before we ship (usually within two business days), call us at 1-519-342-4943 and we'll cancel your order immediately.

If you are dissatisfied for any reason with your order after it arrives, call or email us within 10 days of receiving it and tell us the problem.

If you want to exchange your order for another, comparably priced item, we will ship you the replacement at no additional cost for the item or for shipping. And we will arrange free shipping of your original purchase back to us.

If you choose to return your order, we will refund you 100% of the price of the item. You pay only the cost for shipping to your home, but we will arrange for and will pay the cost of shipping back to us.

Should I expect to pay any additional charges when my purchase arrives?

Perhaps.  This usually only happens when product is being shipped across borders.  Because all of our artwork is 100% produced in either the United States or Canada additional duties should not apply, however there is often a small brokerage fee applied by the courier to cover the costs of clearing customs. 

Do you charge sales taxes on all purchases?

No.  As a company based in the Province of Ontario in Canada we charge sales tax as follows: 

• We charge (PST) provincial sales tax on all purchases from Ontario customers. 
• We also charge federal sales tax (GST) on purchases from all Canadian customers.
• Although we do not charge taxes for other destinations you may still be liable to pay the appropriate local tax at the time of delivery or at some later date.  This is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Does Sleeping Dog Marketing own any other websites?

Yes, at the present time we own and operate two other websites:

• http://www.martialartsyoungandold.com/ is a site specifically designed to educate parents who may want to enroll their children in the martial arts.  And for "older adults" that are considering whether martial arts training is right for them.
• http:/www.sooutdoors.ca  is an information site that promotes outdoor activities in Southern Ontario, Canada.  You will find current and relevant information about hiking, camping, cycling, fishing, hunting, and paddling in Southern Ontario, Canada.
